New traffic law in Singapore!
" Taxi-s can pick up passengers & passengers can alight only at taxi stands! "
some passengers are unhappy with this new law.... n so are some of the taxi drivers..
thou it may be really inconvenient for them...
but it decreases the number of accidents on the roads!
believe it or not..
jus to pick up a passenger by the road side, a taxi driver may cut across few lanes or even stop abruptly.
this causes lots of discomfort to the other drivers on the road. (my father ^^- he complains lots about it)
n if the driver at the back of the taxi couldn't stop just in time to give way?
yup.

so, who's fault is it?
watched the tv programme " Frontline " .
they interviewed the passers-by, passengers and taxi drivers.. asking them for comments of the new law.
and a handicapped uncle was interview in the show.
He is happy with the new law, saying that it will be gd for everyone.
even the handicapped don't find it inconvenient so why are the abled people complaining!?!?

people nowadays are getting lazier each day....
not only the children of Singapore are pampered,
even the adults too! are pampered....
by the Government!
